Canary Bridge B.V.

Business Ethics Policy

Effective 2026. This statement is self-published by Canary Bridge B.V. and is reviewed periodically to remain aligned with applicable European Union law and recognised international standards.

1. Purpose & Scope

This Business Ethics Policy sets out the standards Canary Bridge B.V. holds itself to in every market it operates in, and expects from its directors, employees, and business partners. It applies to all trading and consulting activity carried out under the Canary Bridge name, regardless of the country or counterparty involved.

2. Compliance with EU Law

As a company registered in the Netherlands, Canary Bridge B.V. conducts its business in accordance with European Union law, including but not limited to competition law, consumer protection standards, and applicable trade and customs regulations. Where our activity extends beyond the EU, we apply the higher of EU standards or local law.

3. Anti-Bribery & Corruption

We do not offer, give, solicit, or accept bribes or improper advantages of any kind, in line with the OECD Anti-Bribery Convention and EU anti-corruption frameworks. Every commercial relationship is expected to stand on its own merits.

4. Fair Competition

Canary Bridge B.V. competes on price, quality, and service. We do not engage in price-fixing, market allocation, or other conduct that would breach EU competition law (Articles 101–102 TFEU) or equivalent national competition rules.

5. Data Protection

Personal data shared with us — including through our website's Trading and Consulting forms — is handled in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We collect only what is necessary to respond to an inquiry, and do not sell or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Trade Compliance & Sanctions

We screen counterparties and transactions against applicable EU and UN sanctions regimes and export control requirements, and decline to facilitate trade that would breach them.

7. Human Rights & Labour Standards

We support the principles of the International Labour Organization's core conventions and expect the same from our suppliers and partners — including the prohibition of forced labour and child labour, and respect for freedom of association.

8. Environmental Responsibility

Where route and logistics decisions allow, we factor in environmental impact alongside cost and speed, in line with the direction of EU sustainability policy for trade and logistics.

9. Reporting Concerns

Anyone with a good-faith concern about a breach of this Code — employee, partner, or client — can raise it confidentially at [email protected]. Consistent with the principles of the EU Whistleblower Protection Directive (2019/1937), concerns raised in good faith will not result in retaliation.

10. Review

This statement is reviewed periodically and updated as our operations, applicable law, or best practice evolve.
